I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker providing therapy to adults in New Jersey. My work is grounded in patience, empathy, and deep respect for each person’s story. I believe therapy is most meaningful when people are given the space to speak openly and to feel genuinely heard.
I’m Sean Bourgeoise, a licensed therapist with a Master’s in Psychology. I specialize in helping adults and young professionals work through problem gambling, substance use, and anxiety. My style is supportive, practical, and focused on helping you build insight and create meaningful change.
My current credentials are as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Professional Art Therapist (LPAT), Board Certified Art Therapist (ATR-BC), and Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC). As an immigrant myself, I understand the multi-level variables that take place when adapting to a new culture. Besides, speaking English I am fluent in Spanish and I enjoy working with my Spanish-speaking community. Throughout my years in the mental health field, I have worked with children of diverse ages providing social skills and I have over seven years of experience working for adults in the ID/DD population in both, community and residential settings.
Hunter Tarvin, LCSW, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in New Jersey and earned her MSW at N.Y.U. She is deeply passionate about supporting individuals on their paths toward healing, growth, and greater self-understanding. Grounded in presence, empathy, and genuine curiosity, Hunter believes every behavior is rooted in emotion and unmet inner needs.
In addition to her clinical training, Hunter is a certified RYT-200 yoga instructor. She weaves yogic principles into her work to support mind-body awareness, emotion regulation, and a sense of calm and clarity. She meets clients exactly where they are and enjoys supporting those navigating life transitions, managing stress or anxiety, working through mental health challenges, or seeking personal growth.
In her free time, Hunter enjoys practicing yoga, being outside and in nature, trying new recipes, and spending time with her yellow lab, Phoebe.
As a licensed psychotherapist with over ten years of experience in many settings ranging from community mental health agencies, non profits, private practice, the school system and teletherapy work I have had the privilege of working with people from many walks of life. I have been lucky enough to bare witness to just how strong, resilient and capable most humans when they have the right supports.
I know just how hard taking the first step or deciding to give therapy another chance can be and I welcome you.
I help children, including very young children, learn the skills they need to handle intense emotions of frustration and anxiety. In the initial phases of therapy I focus on enhancing your relationship with your child through play and improved communication, and then in the second phase we will focus on decreasing meltdowns, tantrums and aggression. You will experience a strengthened bond with your child and feel more empowered and capable of handling challenging behaviors. By addressing your child’s emotional difficulties now, you prevent future mental health concerns and lower your child's risk of social and psychological difficulties in the future. I have been an Licensed Clinical Social Worker since 2007 having spent most of my career in Child & Adolescent Outpatient Mental Health and Early Intervention.
