Hi, I'm Amanda, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and the founder of RIVE Counseling. I support women who are feeling emotionally overwhelmed, burned out, or stuck in patterns that no longer serve them. Many of my clients are high-functioning on the outside but privately struggling with anxiety, self-doubt, relationship stress, or feeling disconnected from themselves. My goal is to create a space where you can slow down, feel understood, and start making sense of what you've been carrying.
I have mire than 20 year providing mental health and counseling services. At this time, I spcecialize in grief, loss and life transitions.
Born in the Gateway of the amazon, and raised in numerous different countries; I would best be described as a Global Citizen. My unique background has allowed me to understand that individuals don't fit in a box.
I have provided psychotherapy to children, adolescents, and adults with a wide range of mental health issues using a variety of techniques, from behavioral to psychoanalytic at practices including The Karen Horney Clinic, Trinitas Regional Medical Center, and Miami Children’s Hospital.
