I'm a hard working wife and mother of twins, who has over 6 years of counseling and mental health experience, supporting individuals between the age of 11 to 85 years of age. I hold a M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University, and I have experience working as a Primary and Group Therapist for Depression, Anxiety and Eating Disorders, Career Counselor for at-risk youth, and as a provider for Spiritual Pre-marital and Marital Counseling.
Hi, I’m Kathryn. I know starting therapy can feel overwhelming, especially when you’ve been carrying anxiety, trauma, relationship stress, or emotional exhaustion on your own for a long time. You may feel stuck in patterns that no longer serve you, disconnected from yourself, or unsure how to move forward. My goal is to create a space where you feel safe, supported, and understood without judgment.
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 10 years of experience, I work with adults navigating anxiety, ADHD, trauma, identity exploration, relationship challenges, and major life transitions. I also support clients dealing with depression, stress, women’s issues, substance use concerns, and postpartum mental health. I believe therapy should feel collaborative, empowering, and grounded in real life, helping you better understand yourself while building practical tools for lasting change.
You may be feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, stress, depression, or challenges with focus that make daily life feel harder to manage. Life transitions can also leave you feeling unsure of your next step, especially when you’re trying to stay on track while feeling mentally or emotionally pulled in different directions. You don’t have to figure it out alone. Therapy can be a space where you feel supported, heard, and able to build practical tools for meaningful progress.
There are few things in life that are priceless, but mental health is one of them. I believe that the therapeutic relationship is one of trust, respect and alliance. As a licensed clinician, I believe that each of us has a responsibility, a duty, to become the best versions of ourselves. I also believe that as humans we already possess the tools and knowledge to achieve that goal. As your therapist, it is important to understand your therapeutic goals, your personal struggles, and to highlight the tools/gifts that you already possess. All of this is achieved through open and truthful communication, consistency, and respect. My goal is to accompany you on your journey to wellness.
