I have 11.5 years' experience with co-occurring disorders to include severe mental illness and trauma. I have utilized but not limited to the following evidence practices and modalities -ACT, Strength-Base, Family psychoeducation, DBT, CBT, and person centered. I was a first-generation college student and a student organizer as an undergraduate and graduate student. I hold a Masters in Asian American studies (ethnic studies) and a Masters in Social Work. I have been practicing as a therapist in community mental health settings as well as acute inpatient psychiatry. I only work with folks 18+. I have extensively worked with formerly incarcerated folks and folks who identified as unhoused, refugee, immigrant, and victims of sexual assault.
