I enjoy working with a variety of people who have diverse lifestyles and cultural backgrounds. My clients find me to be compassionate, supportive, and challenging when needed. I believe in building on your strengths to help you find wellness and overcome any obstacles that hold you back from achieving your life goals.
As a skilled licensed psychotherapist, I specialize in helping individuals navigate anxiety, trauma, and life transitions with compassion and clarity. Drawing from evidence-based approaches such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, person in environment, critical race theory, dialectical behavioral therapy and relational techniques, I create a safe, collaborative space for clients to explore patterns, build resilience, and foster meaningful change. With a warm and grounded presence, I support clients in developing deeper self-awareness and a more fulfilling connection to themselves and others.

I specialize in supporting adolescents and young adults as they navigate the unique challenges of growing up, finding identity and new roles, and building resilience. Therapy with me is collaborative and supportive, and my approach is grounded in warmth, curiosity and genuine care for your story.
We have the power to create and to recreate our world through the process of our own thinking. Sometimes all we need is the right guide to help us discover and live that process. It has been my privilege to have served as such a guide. Specializing in the integrative cognitive-behavioral treatment of anxiety, depression, OCD, trauma, and related disorders, I bring a holistic orientation to my work by considering not just psychological factors, but environmental factors as well. Through this approach, coupled with a commitment to close collaboration between therapist and client in order to promote healing and change, I have witnessed extraordinary empowerment in my clients throughout the years.
I came to Clinical Social Work and psychotherapy at middle age, after a long and pretty successful career in the theatre. The same passion for understanding human behavior as an actor led me to seek my Masters in Social Work from Fordham University, graduating Suma Cum Laude in 2007. I have provided concrete social services to marginalized populations while starting and maintaining a small private practice since then. Just under three years ago, I went exclusively private and see clients full-time in virtual sessions.
My passion has always been to empower others to live their fullest, most authentic lives. I believe that each of us holds the strength, wisdom, and resilience we need within—we simply need the space, support, and encouragement to uncover it. I’m driven by a deep desire to help others overcome self-doubt, reconnect with their inner voice, and build a life aligned with their values, passions, and purpose.
Like many of my clients, I struggled a lot and felt like life was harder then it should be. Having done the work of therapy myself, I am now a licensed professional counselor. Before entering private practice, I spent thousands of hours in various different practices working with clients that struggled with depression, and anxiety. I enjoy working with men, women and young adults (18-45). I've found that undiagnosed neurodiverse clients and folks with traumatic family backgrounds are frequently attracted to me and so I've been putting more emphasis on study and research in these areas.
I have been a licensed clinical social worker since 1996 and love evidence based therapies like CBT.
