I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker serving women in Montana and Florida through my private practice, Heart Development Strategies, LLC. I earned my Master of Social Work from Western New Mexico University and hold a graduate certificate in Rural Community Social Work. I am trained in EMDR, trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy, Internal Family Systems, and strengths-based, person-centered approaches.

I specialize in working with emotionally and mentally exhausted women navigating anxiety, burnout, compassion fatigue, trauma, and major life transitions. Many of the women I work with are leaders, entrepreneurs, professionals, and caregivers who have spent years holding everything together while quietly losing touch with themselves. Lacy is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor that specializes in working with clients with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), specifically working with many parents when there is perinatal or postpartum OCD and postpartum depression. Subtypes of OCD that she is most familiar with in addition to perinatal/postpartum OCD are Harm OCD, Contamination OCD, and Sexual Obsessions (such a Pedophilia OCD P-OCD). She has seen many clients with counting and checking related compulsions as well.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Ph.D. in Sociology, bridging clinical practice and research. I specialize in supporting individuals navigating depression, life transitions, racial/ethnic identity and relational challenges, and burnout, with a focus on college students, young adults, Black women, and other people of color. I have over 22 years of experience as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in both the State of Florida and New York, having earned two Master's degrees from Long Island University. I enjoy working with children, adolescents, adults and families. I hold certifications in several treatment modalities including Beautiful Me (self-esteem program for teens), Nature Informed Therapy, mindfulness and trauma resolution.

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Certified Sex Therapist. I have over 15 years of experience treating people suffering from a wide range of problems including family problems, relationship problems, parenting issues, depression, anxiety, and sexual disorders. I gained a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Science at Florida State University in 2005, where I learned about people of various cultures. I continued my studies at Florida International University to earn a Master of Science with a major in Psychology and became a Certified Sex Therapist in 2008. Most recently, I completed a Master of Oriental Medicine in 2021. I utilize information and techniques learned in my studies to assist people in developing tools to improve their lives.
