I want to help you help yourself. I believe everyone is capable of change and I will teach you skills to use everyday.
Welcome! I'm here to offer you a safe space to work through past or current trauma, anxiety, or depression.
I have over a decade of experience as a licensed mental health counselor and consider myself a lifelong learner. As a therapist who has been in therapy, I have seen the benefits in my personal and professional life.
I received my bachelor’s of arts degree in psychology from West Chester University and my Master’s of Science degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Gannon University.
I am holistic and use art therapy as well as an empowerment approach.
I am a licensed mental health counselor with a background in education and formal training from the University of Montevallo and the University of Alabama at Birmingham. My work is grounded in trauma‐informed therapy and guided by a holistic approach that honors the whole person. I specialize in working with sexual assault survivors and in treating depression, anxiety, trauma, attachment issues, couples, relationships, and PTSD.
My passion lies in helping individuals live their best lives by transforming unhelpful thought patterns, releasing trauma, and breaking free from mental and emotional blocks that no longer serve them.
I take an eclectic, integrative approach to therapy—tailoring each session to meet your unique needs. With graduate training in Counseling and Psychology, and additional degrees in Education and Leadership, I bring a well-rounded perspective shaped by years of experience in diverse roles, including teaching, academic advising, addiction counseling, and working with couples, children, and families.
Drawing from a range of evidence-based and holistic modalities—such as Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness, Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Energy Psychology—I strive to create a compassionate and empowering space for healing and growth.
Having navigated my own transformative life experiences, I deeply understand what it means to face challenges, cultivate resilience, and emerge stronger. My purpose as a counselor is to guide others through their own journeys of healing, self-discovery, and personal evolution.
My warm and interpersonal style fosters a sense of safety and trust, allowing clients to feel seen, supported, and inspired as they work toward living more authentic, balanced, and fulfilling lives.
Welcome, Welcome! I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) and National Certified Counselor (NCC) in Florida with over 10 years of experience working as a psychotherapist and qualified mental health professional. I have worked with clients with a wide range of presenting problems and concerns including, but not limited to: depression, anxiety, family conflicts/dynamics, parenting-related issues, self-esteem, trauma-related symptoms, OCD, DMDD, ODD, ADHD and tics (vocal/motor).
I am certified in Comprehensive Behavioral Intervention for Tics (CBIT) and have extensive training working with individuals with Tourette's Syndrome and Tic Disorders.
My counseling style is attentive, empathetic, and person-centered. I believe supportive psychotherapy in conjunction with psychoeducation is life-changing and can be life-saving. My clinical approach is integrative eclectic therapy, which combines a variety of modalities and techniques (e.g., CBT, DBT, ACT, CBIT, etc.) to best fit your needs.
Grounded in dialogue, I will make it a priority to ensure a safe, comfortable, and respectful environment that allows you to talk openly. As we build rapport and a therapeutic relationship, I will display unconditional positive regard in a objective, neutral, and nonjudgmental manner.
We demonstrate resilience when we expand our understanding and challenge our irrational thoughts that influence our emotions. Together, we will aim to improve symptoms and overcome life's obstacles through self-awareness, discernment and reassurance.
I look forward to working with you!
