I’m a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist and Registered Play Therapist who loves working with children, teens, & families. I’m the co-founder of New Growth Counseling, where we focus on providing thoughtful, relationship-based care in a warm, supportive environment. My background includes extensive experience supporting kids and families through emotional, behavioral, and life transition challenges. I’m passionate about making therapy feel accessible, collaborative, and grounded in real life.
I am a licensed therapist with a Master’s degree in Community Counseling from Slippery Rock University and an Educational Specialist (Ed.S.) degree from Liberty University. With over 14 years of experience in outpatient therapy and more than 5 years of supervising counseling interns and master’s-level clinicians, I bring both clinical expertise and a strong commitment to supporting fellow professionals in the field.
I have received specialized training in grief treatment using current evidence-based approaches across the lifespan, Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). My clinical experience spans a wide range of ages—from toddlers as young as 2 to individuals in their 80s—and I genuinely enjoy working with all age groups.
I understand that reaching out for support can feel overwhelming, but I believe it’s a powerful and courageous first step toward healing. My goal is to create a safe, compassionate space where you feel heard, respected, and empowered on your journey toward wellness.
