Ultimately, I believe we are all human—doing our best to live meaningful lives in a beautiful yet challenging world. I practice with this mindset and with the belief in our innate capacity to heal when given the right support and guidance. My therapeutic approach is warm, compassionate, and client-centered. I view my clients as the experts in their own lives, holding the answers within themselves. While finding this path can be difficult, with the right support, growth and transformation are truly possible.
I am a licensed therapist in New Jersey (LPC) and New York (LMHC), with specialized training in the treatment of trauma, anxiety disorders, and depression. I am certified to provide Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) to help reduce symptoms of depression, trauma, and other forms of emotional distress. Additionally, I am certified in the Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP)—a therapeutic intervention that supports nervous system regulation through filtered music.
I hold a graduate degree in Counseling Psychology with a specialization in Forensics and Addiction, as well as additional certification in trauma treatment. With over ten years of experience in the field, I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other evidence-based practices in my work. My experience spans diverse settings, including hospitals, clinics, and private practice.
I work with children, teens, and young adults who may be feeling overwhelmed, misunderstood, or unsure of themselves. I know it can be hard to open up, especially if you’re used to holding things in. I’ve seen how powerful it is when people feel truly heard and supported.
I currently support middle and high school students in a therapeutic school setting and continue to provide in home therapy and family-based therapy; as well as facilitate process groups for adolescents and parent support groups.
I focus on challenges on anxiety, mood changes, trauma, and self-esteem challenges- areas that can deeply impact how someone sees themselves and moves through the world.
I am bilingual in English and Spanish and value creating a culturally responsive and welcoming space. Therapy with me is collaborative — we move at your pace, but we also work toward real growth. You don’t have to have everything figured out to start. We’ll work through it together.

HI! I'm Donna. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, (LPC) practicing in New Jersey. I received my master's degree at Temple University and have been working in behavioral health settings since 1996. I worked in a medical facility treating in-patient and out-patient clients, an adolescent group home and an elementary school as the school counselor. I help children, young adults, adults, couples and families. One of my favorite quotes is, "Nothing great is ever achieved without much endurance." In life, we go through things. Some are good and some are not so good. You made it this far, so that means you have something to work on and you are willing to see if a therapist can help. I have worked with people of all ages, genders, religions, races and sexual orientations. No two people are the same and all people deserve to be seen as the individual whom they are. Therapy may not always be easy, but I will treat you with respect and honesty. This is your platform. I will go at your pace so that you are comfortable, but I will challenge you. Together, we will set a plan and work towards achieving your goals.
