I’m a Board-Certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with nearly two decades of experience supporting individuals and families through behavioral health and substance use challenges. My approach is grounded in trauma‐informed care, cultural sensitivity, and meeting people exactly where they are. I believe healing happens when people feel seen, heard, and supported without judgment.
I completed my Master of Science in Nursing at Monmouth University and have worked across inpatient, outpatient, community, and addiction treatment settings. My background includes detox and MAT services, crisis stabilization, care coordination, and leading interdisciplinary teams. I also serve as a clinical instructor for BSN students, which keeps me connected to education, mentorship, and the next generation of nurses.
I’m the owner of a growing group practice Guided Hope Center, where our focus is helping individuals and couples who feel overwhelmed, mentally drained, or stuck in patterns that aren’t working especially around anxiety, relationships, and life transitions.
With over 10 years in the mental health field, I’ve worked across outpatient and in-home settings and have advanced training in trauma. I’m also trained in the Gottman Method (Level 2) for couples work and provide clinical direction and support to my team in this approach.
When you reach out, I take time to understand what you’re looking for and thoughtfully match you with a clinician in my practice who fits your needs, personality, and goals. Our goal is not just to get you into therapy but to get you connected with the right therapist.
As a licensed clinical psychologist, I believe that healing begins when you feel truly seen, supported, and valued. Taking the step to seek therapy can feel overwhelming, and I honor the courage it takes to begin this journey. My work focuses on helping adults navigate challenges such as trauma, depression, anxiety, relationship stress, and major life transitions. I have a special passion for supporting BIPOC clients, first-time moms, college students, professionals, first responders, and individuals of faith.
Dating, maintaining healthy relationships, and keeping it spicy in the bedroom can be challenging and feel overwhelming. Whether you are single or in a relationship, couple’s therapy can help.
My work with Couples focuses on issues of communication, intimacy, infidelity, trust and sexual difficulties. If you are single, and are looking to work through past or prospective relationships, we can work on helping identify the factors getting in the way of finding, or maintaining healthy relationships.
Experiencing a lack of sexual fulfillment during any stage your life can feel isolating, challenging and overwhelming. Whether you are single, dating, in an open relationship, or in a committed relationship. When “sex isn’t working”, it feels uncomfortable and frustrating, and can make you feel like there is something wrong with you.
We can work together in Sex Therapy, as an Individual or as a Couple to help you achieve the positive sex goals you want and deserve. I'm an English/Spanish speaking Psychotherapist. I specialize in Individuals, Couples and Sex Therapy. I would like to help you feel better and have success in all areas of your life. Give me a call for a free consultation.
