I have wanted to be a counselor from a young age. I received my undergraduate BA degree in Psychology from the University of Colorado and my graduate degree M.Ed clinical/ school counseling from the University of Phoenix. I also spent two years studying at the Denver Seminary to learn how to incorporate faith into counseling. I started out as a middle school counselor and also worked as a therapist in a counseling clinic. My passions are parent coaching, helping with anxiety disorders as well as depressive disorders.
Hi, I'm Amanda! I know it can be tough looking for a new therapist, and I hope you find someone you connect with! I may be the right fit if you're looking for someone who: listens and engages with you, creates a space where you can be yourself, validates but also challenges at times, and recognizes the impact of the state of the world, societal expectations, & trauma on your mental health.
Hi, I’m Rochelle. I’ve been a therapist for over 25 years, and my goal is simple — to help you feel better, think clearer, and live your best life.
My sessions are warm, honest, and conversational. I don’t just listen — I teach practical tools and life skills you can actually use to manage stress, handle emotions, and build healthier relationships. Together, we’ll work through what’s weighing on you and find new ways to create peace and balance.
I take a whole-person approach — mind, body, and spirit — and I especially enjoy helping adults who feel overwhelmed, anxious, or unsure of their next step. Therapy with me feels like a safe, supportive space to learn, grow, and start feeling more like yourself again.
My therapeutic style is very authentic, warm and strength based. I believe that my therapeutic practice is a work of the heart, and I believe in the change and or support that each and everyone of my clients' seeks. I have utilized theoretical perspectives such as cognitive behavioral therapy, solution focused therapy as well as brief treatment therapeutic modalities. I also enjoy utilizing bits of psychoanalytic theory and I'm creative and open based on what is best for each and every client I serve.
I work with motivated individuals seeking relief from chronic pain as well as reduced stress and anxiety in their personal lives or at work. Chronic pain conditions that I treat include but are not limited to neck and back pain, headaches, pelvic pain, IBS, tinnitus, and fibromyalgia.
My approach is very goal and solution-oriented.
I am a bilingual (English/Spanish) licensed clinical social worker in North Carolina with over 16 years of experience. I have helped individuals enhance their lifestyles and feel confident resolving problems, improving relationships, and communication skills. I've also helped individuals who struggled with substance abuse and unhealthy relationships. I offer bilingual (English/ Spanish) as well as in-person and online.
