Hi, I'm Mindi and I have a passion for helping people find their best selves. I have my LCMHC Licensure based in my home state of North Carolina. Here I'm blessed with beaches and environmental beauty, it truly inspires me to live each day to the fullest. I'm interested in helping you do the same! I'm here to listen and get you on a healing journey to a better, stronger, and happier self.
You are not "too much" when you're in my office, I promise! Whether you’re struggling with past trauma, grappling with self-harm, or simply feeling overwhelmed, I offer a safe, nonjudgmental space where you will experience real change, healing, and growth.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 9 years of experience in DBT and EMDR. I work with folks from ages 17 to 70
I call my counseling practice "Wit's End" because that's often the point at which we turn to help. It pauses the conversation for a moment. It is the moment we "hiccup" and turn to curiosity. That's why I'm here. With cleverness, kindness, and hope, we will sit together and navigate what brought you here and how you can move through.
I specifically like to work with couples, adults, parents, every type of relationship, those in chronic pain, and those who are departing some sort of community.
Hi, I’m Ashlie Austin, a therapist passionate about helping women who feel “never enough” find relief, confidence, and self-compassion. I specialize in working with women navigating perfectionism, ADHD, and anxiety, and I provide trauma-informed care to help untangle the experiences that keep you feeling stuck. I’m trained in EMDR, which can be especially effective for healing from painful memories and breaking free from patterns rooted in the past. Above all, I want my clients to know they don’t have to figure it all out alone.
I believe we do our best based on what we’ve learned from important relationships and situations. We feel distress when what we’ve learned no longer works and our coping skills get overwhelmed. With the right conditions, growth can occur.
With over 20+ years of experience with clients across the spectrums of age, ethnicity, sexual and gender identity, religious/spiritual orientation, income level, and ability status, I've learned to practice with cultural humility.
