Welcome! I am a open-minded, caring, and energetic therapist with a background in treating a variety of mental health concerns. I have had my private practice for about 10 years. Prior to private practice, I was working in the substance abuse field and treated occurring disorders for 10 years. I love working with clients to identify and understand their strengths and how to use them to build a quality life with continued growth.
Ever feel like your past is quietly running the show? I use psychoanalytic therapy to help you understand those unconscious patterns. Most people I work with feel an immediate sense of relief and connection starting with our very first conversation. It’s the first step toward Modern Analysis—a process designed for those seeking permanent, meaningful change.
In our process, as you work towards sharing whatever is on your mind, we listen, think, and feel together, paying attention to patterns that may echo your past and our broader sociopolitical context. We explore what may be difficult to think or feel through on your own—a process that can lead to deepened self-understanding, more curiosity, and new ways of relating with your internal and external worlds. This work can help you feel more spontaneous, more connected to yourself, to others, to your desires and fears, and can lead to new possibilities for intentional choices.

If you seek a counselor that is direct and real, look no further because I am that person. I use a number of 'tools' and I think 'out- of -the- box.' The clients I have the most experience helping are those with depression, anxiety and trauma. At our first session, you will determine if we have the 'chemistry' to experience successful counseling.
I am quirky, direct and different. If ordinary is what you seek, I am not that person.
