I specialize in working with people with Anxiety, Phobias, PTSD, Adjustment Disorders and Codependency. I also work with people on setting and maintaining boundaries, goal-setting, assertiveness training, communication skills, changing thoughts and behaviors and coping skills. I provide support when you are in crisis, need help with parenting skills and work with you to reduce symptoms that affect your everyday life. If you want to incorporate bible scripture or prayer, I am happy to provide this support! If requested, sessions can include walking, movement, meeting inside or outside the office.
Do you worry your child or teen is struggling with anxiety, emotional challenges, or behavior concerns at home or school? With pressures from school, social media, extracurriculars, and family expectations, children and teens today face unique challenges. Parents often feel overwhelmed or unsure how to support them. At SAPANS, our mission is clear: “Let us help you understand your child.” We work with children, teens, and families to explore challenges, build coping skills, and strengthen understanding in a knowledgeable, respectful, and inclusive environment.
I’m a compassionate counselor who enjoys working with adults navigating trauma, anxiety, and depression. I strive to create a calm, supportive space where you feel safe, understood, and respected. Together, we’ll gently explore challenges, build practical coping tools, and work at a pace that feels right for you. I believe in your resilience and will partner with you as you move toward healing and greater balance.
Howdy! My name is Angela. I am a LCSW-S, licensed in the state of Texas. I aim to guide my clients to a place of felt safety, strength and authenticity. I work alongside families and caregivers to provide education on how to better understand, support and connect with their loved one. My hope is to help clients gain the skills needed to take control of their life, find their voice, and begin to embrace all parts of themselves, leading to a sense of wholeness.
Outside of session I enjoy spending time with family, lounging around with my dog Hank, reading and listening to live music.
I’m passionate about creating a space where you can truly be yourself — seen, heard, and understood. My goal is to offer a warm, supportive environment where you don’t have to hold it all together, and where healing can begin through genuine connection.
I specialize in working with individuals and couples, particularly within the BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ communities. I understand how identity, culture, and systemic challenges can shape our experiences and relationships. My work is grounded in empathy, curiosity, and respect for your story.

I try to be relatable, respectful, and at times transparent. My journey to becoming a therapist gives me perspectives that allow me to connect with a lot of different people from diverse walks of life
I’ve been where you are. As someone in long-term recovery, I understand the challenges firsthand and bring both empathy and 15 years of professional counseling experience to support you in finding your own path and developing your strengths. I work with adolescents, people struggling with substance use, and those facing anxiety, depression, grief, or trauma.
I specialize in working with individuals in recovery and LGBTQ+ clients, helping you build resilience, explore your goals, and discover practical strategies that fit your life.
My approach is collaborative and empowering—you set the pace, and I walk alongside you with understanding, guidance, and support as you create meaningful change and uncover the strengths you already have within.
Therapy with me is real, relational, and rooted in truth.
I bring what I call a homie check-in into the space—a mix of honesty, reflection, and support where you can be called in (not called out), challenged with care, and supported as you grow into the version of yourself you’re becoming.
You’ve been holding it together for a long time.
Showing up for everyone. Pushing through. Carrying things that people don’t always see.
And at the same time... something feels off.
You’re overwhelmed, burned out, or reacting in ways that don’t fully feel like you.
That’s where our work begins.
I work with women navigating anxiety, trauma, burnout, and life transitions, especially those who are used to being “the strong one.” Together, we make sense of your patterns, your reactions, and the parts of you that learned how to survive.
