Hi! I am a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist offering therapy to individuals and couples. I received my Masters in Clinical Psychology at Antioch University Los Angeles with an emphasis in Spiritual and Depth Psychology. I traveled to Japan to study Mindfulness from a Zen buddhism lens. I have worked with a variety of individuals ranging from toddlers to older adults, which has allowed me to develop a versatile process that helps the client wherever they may be on their life path.
I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor passionate about helping children, teens, adults, and families heal and grow. My approach integrates trauma-informed and evidence-based methods, including EMDR, TF-CBT, and parent-child work to strengthen relationships and promote resilience. At Bending Willows Wellness, we believe in the power of flexibility and perseverance—helping clients “bend” rather than break through life’s challenges. My goal is to create a safe, compassionate space where you can explore, heal, and move toward a more fulfilling and authentic life.
You are overwhelmed at work, a place where you’ve excelled. Your personal life and relationships are affected, and you don’t feel like yourself. The work stress, anxiety, and perfectionism, coupled with lack of motivation, mindless wandering, and change in confidence is getting to you. You want to find a way to feel happy, excited, and fulfilled again but there’s a blocker and you’re not sure what it is. Therapy is a safe space to explore and work through these challenges, and I’d be honored to be a part of that journey with you.
I specialize in Asian American Pacific Islander mental health, specifically anxiety, depression, intergenerational trauma, first generation, children of narcissistic/"tiger" parents, aging parents, grief, guilt/shame, perfectionism, imposter syndrome, and academic/career counseling. I also work with clients in pregnancy and postpartum.
Gold coast wellness helps the child and adult who has been anxious since COVID-19 be the star of the classroom or workplace by providing a community-centric approach to care — working with teachers, families, guidance counselors, and pediatricians."
Maybe they aren't getting as much joy from spending time with their loved ones, or the sunset doesn’t feel as striking as it once did.
We'll use a gentle, collaborative approach to help you explore your thoughts without judgment.
You can expect open communication, respect, and individualized care focused on helping them achieve lasting emotional balance and improved daily functioning.
Clients describe me as someone who’s compassionate, but who will “tell it like it is.” I believe that most problems in our relationships and well-being come from unmet needs in childhood. I help my clients learn to heal through mindfulness, reparenting, and finding a sense of safety through Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) or somatic therapy. At the same time, we need to identify and challenge negative beliefs that we have about ourselves and the world. This is a process called Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Through therapy, we can develop self-awareness, healthy boundaries, and assertive communication. These are skills we can all learn to help us feel better and work towards the life and healthy relationships we want.
