Originally from a small, rural town south of San Antonio, I pursued my passion for social work in the DFW metroplex. I completed both my Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Social Work at The University of Texas at Arlington, with a focus on diversity and Family & Children. While I've gained experience in diverse social work environments, my primary focus and passion have been providing mental health services to children and and their families. It's incredibly rewarding work, and I'm wholeheartedly committed to supporting mental well-being.
Hello! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker drawing from several years of experience in a school environment as well as counseling with individuals and families. I am committed to meeting you where you are, fostering genuine connections, and ensuring that you feel accepted and heard. My goal in each session is to learn about your experiences and goals to determine the best therapeutic strategies for your journey.
I work with individuals navigating a wide range of life’s challenges, offering a supportive space to explore stress, transitions, relationships, and emotional wellbeing. I also work with teens, especially those who may feel hesitant about therapy, helping them discover what sparks their interest and incorporating strengths in our sessions.
You might be feeling overwhelmed, stuck or just plain tired of trying to figure everything out on your own. Maybe anxiety keeps you up at night, or depression makes it hard to find the motivation to get through your day. Perhaps ADHD has you juggling a million things at once, but nothing feels like it's getting done. Maybe you're in the midst of a big change; a new role, shifting family dynamics, or health challenges and you're not sure how to navigate it all. I want you to know that you don't have to do it alone. Life doesn't always go as planned, and sometimes it can feel overwhelming to carry. We can find a way forward together.
I work with adults, couples, and teens, helping people untangle challenges that often feel overwhelming, interconnected, or hard to name. I believe most struggles don’t exist in isolation—they affect our relationships, our emotions, and how we move through the world. My role is to truly get to know you, understand your story, and support you in creating meaningful, lasting change.
My background is both clinical and academic. I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, along with graduate degrees in Philosophy and Sociology, and a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Communications. I’m also a doctoral candidate in Educational Psychology. This combination allows me to look at your concerns through emotional, relational, and systemic lenses—not just symptom-focused ones.
I specialize in trauma work, relationship therapy, and working with preteens and teens—who are often misunderstood but incredibly important to support early. I’ve trained in EMDR, Gottman Method Couples Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), CBT, Art Therapy, and Conflict & Dispute Resolution. Above all, I value creating a space where you feel safe, respected, and genuinely supported.
As a licensed professional counselor, I believe counseling and psychotherapy can help people’s mental health. Spending time and effort on mental health is important to people’s self-care routine. I have over three years’ experience providing mental health counseling and psychotherapy to a variety of people. My focus area has been working with adults that have moderate to severe mental health issues.
I have dual Master’s Degrees in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Education. My background in education consist of teaching elementary and middle school children, which allows me to connect with children and adolescents very easily. I also have worked with parents and guardians to overcome hurdles associated with parenting and kinship care.
