I believe that struggles with mental health can make us feel like we’re on the outside looking in — different, misunderstood, or even broken.
Many of the people I work with identify as the “black sheep” in their families or communities — thoughtful, self-aware, but carrying more than they should have to on their own.
My goal is to help you shift how you see those experiences. What feels like a weakness or flaw often has the potential to become a source of strength, insight, and growth.
I specialize in working with people who feel like they don’t quite fit in.
I'm a licensed clinical social worker passionate about helping individuals navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, and grief. I graduated with my master's in social work and worked in community mental health both in an inpatient and outpatient setting, supporting clients with a wide range of diagnoses and complex trauma. I have had the opportunity to facilitate group therapy and individual therapy. I am certified in Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). This allows me to offer practical, evidence-based tools that are tailored to your unique therapy experience and goals.
My name is Trendolyn Davis-Klutts a LPC in Dallas, Texas. I enjoy encouraging and guiding individuals to help them reach recovery and stability within their lives. I have worked within the mental health field for 11 years. I had the pleasure to work with individuals with different mental health disorders such as Major Depressive Disorder, Bipolar I Disorder, Dissociative Identity Disorder, and other areas where people are affected based on mental concerns, or personal life changes.
