The underlying principles in her approach are that treating anxiety, depression, relationship dysfunction, self-esteem and more can be traced to experiences, beliefs of shame, trauma, and other negative core beliefs in an individual. Finding out these aspects of a person’s life, naming them, and working through them are components of her counseling process.

I have a strong passion for learning about the importance of mental health and decided to complete my graduate studies at Capella University. I graduated with a Master’s in Clinical Counseling and completed my practicum hours at a mental health hospital in San Antonio. I have been providing services to the following age groups: aged-school children, adolescents, and adults. I have experience and can offer services to the following: grief, transitions, anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress, attachment, relationships, and codependency. My well-rounded experience has allowed me to make connections and provide services to people from different backgrounds.
