This is your one and only life. Let's make it the best! My name is Jerry Giordano and I am a Psychotherapist committed to helping people become better versions of themselves. I graduated Magna Cum Laude from Boston College and earned my Master's degree from the University of Texas at Arlington. When you sit across the chair from me, l meet you where you are and together we explore options and set goals.
Whether you're a parent watching your kid struggle, a teen who feels like nobody really gets what's going on, or an adult carrying old hurt that still shows up in everyday life, you don't have to figure this out alone. I've spent 15 years working with kids, teens, and adults navigating anxiety, ADHD, depression, and the lingering effects of trauma. A lot of my work is with families finding their way back to each other when everyone is feeling overwhelmed and exhausted.
I am a Marriage and Family Therapist who has been practicing since 2018, specializing in working with couples and families who want to improve communication and deepen their understanding of one another.
My approach is collaborative and solution-focused, and I work to help clients identify their strengths and develop practical, meaningful solutions that align with their values and goals.
Originally from Bulgaria, I have lived in the United States for over 23 years, which has shaped my cultural awareness and perspective. I have experience working with individuals and families from diverse backgrounds and strive to create a respectful and inclusive therapeutic environment.
It is a privilege to walk alongside my clients as they work toward growth, clarity, and becoming the best version of themselves.
I speak English, Bulgarian, and Spanish!
I offer both in-person sessions in Livingston and secure telehealth across Texas, providing flexible access to care in a supportive, judgment-free environment. I have a strong background in health science and mental health education, which shapes a structured and evidence-informed style while still prioritizing authentic human connection. I frequently work with individuals experiencing chronic stress, mood challenges, trauma-related symptoms, and complex emotional patterns, including those seeking DBT-informed strategies for emotional regulation and relationship stability.
Life has a way of throwing "unexpected" transitions our way—whether you’re a young adult finding your footing, a couple trying to bridge a growing gap, or a fellow veteran transitioning back to civilian life. As a proud veteran of the United States Navy, I bring a unique perspective of discipline, resilience, and service to my clinical work. I hold a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of North Texas and have spent a decade supporting diverse populations, including first responders, civil service members, and families navigating the complexities of depression and relationship conflict. I'm here to ensure you feel seen and supported as we turn life's surprises into opportunities for growth.
